This service is offered by Physical and Biological Sciences to the local division.

What is it?

Local ITS staff offer assistance with desktop/laptop configurations, installation of hardware and software, troubleshooting, and basic assistance with system usage.

They also assist with specialized desktop/workstations that are connected to a variety of scientific research equipment, e.g. microscopes, NMRs, etc.

How much does it cost?

It is free.  The only cost is to the client when they wish to purchase a new desktop/laptop/mobile device etc.
